Ingredients
- Oil — Most of the oil is neutral oil like canola, avocado or any other flavourless oil. The other part is good quality extra virgin olive oil.
- Honey — Use a mild runny honey for best results.
- Mustard — Smooth Dijon mustard or semi-grainy Dijon mustard works best.
- Vinegar — I use white wine vinegar but feel free to use apple cider or malt vinegar.
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients into a blender jug.
- Blend until emulsified and creamy.
- Use straight away or store in the fridge for up to 3 months.

Recipe
Homemade Honey Mustard Dressing
Quick and easy creamy honey mustard dressing you can use on any salad, fried chicken or delicious ham sandwich.
Servings 12 portions
Ingredients
- 15 grams (1 tablespoon) white wine vinegar - note 1
- 100 grams (4 ¾ tablespoon) honey - note 2
- 50 grams (3 ⅓ tablespoon) Dijon mustard - note 3
- 100 grams (½ cups) Sunflower oil - note 4
- 50 grams (3 ½ tablespoon) olive oil - extra virgin
- 3 grams (½ teaspoon) salt
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients into a blender jug.
- Blend until emulsified and creamy.
- Use straight away or store in the fridge for up to a month.
Notes
- You can also use apple cider or malt vinegar instead. If you don't like vinegar, replace it with lemon juice.
- Use mild runny honey as strong-flavoured honey will spoil the balance.
- Feel free to use blended grainy Dijon but don't use American or English mustard. They are not suitable for this recipe.
- Use any other neutral-flavoured oil instead of sunflower if you prefer.
- Will keep well stored airtight in the fridge for a few months.
